MMG Acoustical Consultants was founded to provide experienced, independent, professional consulting services exclusively in acoustics and noise control for the Indian subcontinent market. The firm helps add value of good acoustical conditions, reduce the risk of problems, and resolve existing problems in buildings, workplaces, and the outdoor environment. Clients include architects, engineers, industry, property owners, schools, churches and other worship spaces, attorneys and government agencies. The principal, Mr. Mathew M. George, is an avid student of acoustics since 1997 and a postgraduate mechanical engineer from the North Carolina State University, USA. He has trained under Mr. Larry Royster PhD., USA, a professor renowned in the field of noise control and hearing conservation. He also works for Stewart Acoustical Consultants, a member of the National Council of Acoustical Consultants, USA. He continues his working relation with Stewart Acoustical Consultants for their US projects, in a contractual outsourced acoustical consultancy services from India.


Mathew is interested in promoting the awareness for the need of good acoustics and hearing environment in day-to-day activities. The firm offers a combination of training, experience, leadership and instruments for sound measurement and analysis that is new in our primary service area.


Today the primary goal of this firm is to meet the needs for unbiased, quality services in architectural acoustics, industrial noise control and environmental noise control among the clients primarily in Indian, American and Middle Eastern markets. The firm concentrates full time in acoustics and noise control only. It is especially knowledgeable of people, environment, traditional industries and building practices in India, American and the Middle East. And therefore believe this knowledge of the various regions, our natural affinity and our location near our clients is a major advantage. The firm maintains sophisticated instruments for the measurement and analysis of sound.

WHOM DO WE WORK FOR?

We can and do work for owners, designers or even occasionally construction contractors on architectural or industrial projects. However the unique nature of acoustical consulting raises the strong potential for conflict of interest if we try to work for multiple parties on the same project. Therefore, we insist on a single clearly defined client for each project, to whom we are solely and directly responsible for our advice and who is solely, directly and unconditional responsible for our prompt payment. We do not accept subcontract arrangements. We do not take up any turnkey projects on our part on grounds of conflict in ethical and professional interests.
